Located in the beautiful Futian District of Shenzhen, China, Shenzhen Enlighten International School (SEIS) is a high-end, American international boarding school with complete facilities. It is situated at the intersection of Futian and Nanshan Districts, offering convenient transportation and a beautiful environment. The school provides first-class living services and a comfortable teaching environment, including intelligent student dormitories and 24-hour humanistic care for students.

SEIS follows the American-style education system in cooperation with the California State Education System. It undertakes the U.S. California public education standards and introduces the advanced teaching curriculum system of American public high schools, with English language instruction creating a strong American academic atmosphere. The school provides high-quality U.S. education for the children of Shenzhen and the country.

Currently, the school is enrolling students in grades 7-12.

The growth of Shenzhen Enlighten International School represents a new model of international K12 education, providing students with not only the necessary knowledge base but also placing greater emphasis on overall student development and preparation for independent living. In my 35 years of international education, I have keenly recognized the significance of fostering students’ conscientious and independent learning attitudes. Thus, Shenzhen English School is founded on a global perspective in the design and implementation of classroom teaching, social practice, personality development, friendship, and health education and training. We prioritize the scientific requirements of education and have recruited exceptional educational psychologists and professional teachers from both China and abroad, as well as collaborating with renowned universities and institutions. Together, we aim to establish a school that integrates fundamental knowledge, science and technology, counseling, and a commitment to nurturing talent. I eagerly anticipate witnessing students make great strides each day in this era of progress! The SEIS supports students in realizing their potential in terms of academic and personal characteristics, thus preparing all students for success in higher education and in life. The small class sizes (about 20 students per class) and independent learning model of our school can effectively enhance students’ interest in learning, tailor teaching to each student’s ability, give full play to each student’s potential, and help students to complete the transition to first-class international education in China, so that they can truly adapt to study abroad in advance, adapt to the overseas, and realize and local students overseas! Campus life

Students at SEIS have one hour of extracurricular activity time every afternoon. There are multiple clubs and organizations for students to choose from, including yoga, swimming, fitness, basketball, music, musical instruments, robots, etc., providing students with a space to fully showcase their talents. In addition, a variety of campus activities such as the American School Games, The Voice of England, dance competitions, drama festivals, dubbing competitions, Halloween activities, Christmas activities, etc., make students enjoy themselves.
